the role of the CNVV 

The National Gliding Centre ( Centre National de Vol à Voile)  is the French Gliding Federation's Centre for glider pilot training.  

The CNVV'S chief missions are  :

perfecting glider pilot techniques
training and updating of pilot instructor qualifications      
to act as training centre for the National French Team and French pilots selected on the top-class sports list.   
CNVV activities
At the end of the season 2009, the CNVV registered almost  21600 gliding hours and more than 1453 weeks' course participation.

These results can be divided up as follows on CNVV  gliders:
77% dedicated to advanced pilot training
10% dedicated to instructor training
11% top-class sports training courses
1% aerobatics

6 classrooms, two of which are equipped with video-projectors, and where briefings are held in French and in English.

An Internet  connection (access  WIFI) plus computer is available for pilots in the North building.
accommodation

During your stay you may use our accommodation facilities ,  which are situated right next to the airfield and your glider:
single, two-bedded or three-bedded rooms.
a shady campsite with all necessary amenities:  showers, water outlets and electricity.
 bungalows equipped for four persons for an enjoyable stay with your family or with friends.

sports facilities

a swimming-pool (May to September) and a tennis court are available on the airfield.  
a rest room with television and billiards in the South Building.  
a bar open every evening to meet and discuss the day's activities.
